Biography
April Grimm is a Subrogation Manager with Berkley Subrogation Services, where she has built a distinguished 25‑year career in claims and recovery. After graduating with a degree in Criminal Justice, April began her insurance career with Berkley and has since held a variety of progressively complex claims‑related roles across the organization.
In her current role, April manages a team of subrogation professionals responsible for auto and workers’ compensation recovery, as well as oversight of the uninsured vendor desk. In addition to her leadership responsibilities, she personally handles complex workers’ compensation subrogation matters, including construction site accidents, product liability claims, and fatality-related losses for multiple Berkley companies nationwide. She is known for her deep technical expertise, collaborative approach, and commitment to driving high‑quality recovery outcomes.
April has earned both the Senior Claims Law Associate – Gold (SCLA Gold) designation and the Certified Subrogation Recovery Professional (CSRP) designation, underscoring her dedication to professional excellence and continuous learning.
