David Pisanic

Biography

For the past 25 years, David Pisanic and his team of independent adjusters have served as the eyes and ears of regional and national carriers and self-insured entities throughout Maryland, the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia.  Frequently called upon to adjust catastrophic claims and to assist in the investigation of complex coverage issues, Mr. Pisanic’s experience extends to multiple lines of insurance coverage, including property, casualty, general liability, commercial auto, trucking, construction defect, and premises liability claims.
Confronting the technological challenge of claims adjusting in the 21st Century, David A. Pisanic & Associates has joined forces with AmeriClaim to provide a rapid response to claims throughout the region.  A skilled negotiator, Mr. Pisanic often appears on behalf of claims departments at mediations and settlement conferences, and has testified on claims investigations in high-exposure litigation.  As a longstanding member of the Maryland Motor Truck Association and of Eagle International Associates, Mr. Pisanic is highly regarded for his sophistication, responsiveness and timely reporting, and speaks regularly on effective claims management and best practices for independent adjusters.  Earning his Associate in Claims (AIC) designation in 1992, Mr. Pisanic is a graduate of Wheaton College and holds master’s degrees from Sonoma State University and from Loyola University of Maryland.
