Jennifer Assa-Kass

Biography

Jennifer is a Senior Claims Specialist with Nationwide’s Management Liability and Specialty claims where she handles Employment Practices Liability claims for both for-profit and non-profit insureds. 

Jennifer has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Nationwide, Jennifer was a claims consultant with Hartford Financial Products where she handled Lawyers Professional Liability and E&O Liability claims for The Hartford. Prior to joining The Hartford, Jennifer was a Senior Claims Officer with the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies where she handled not for profit D&O and Employment Practices claims. Jennifer began her insurance career with the American International Group, Inc. as a claims counsel and began her legal career in private practice in New York City where she represented clients in a wide range of complex commercial matters including employment litigation. 

Jennifer received a B.A. from Skidmore College, a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, a M.P.A. from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and an M.S. from Columbia University in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution. Jennifer is admitted to practice in New York State and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
