Biography

Mitzi George was born in Mesa, Arizona, but is a native of Corinth, Mississippi. Ms. George's practice is focused on general civil defense, primarily the representation of clients in a wide range of tort claims that are covered by insurance agreements. She received her preparatory education at the University of Southern Mississippi, Gulf-Park (B.S. Business Management, 2002) and went on to receive her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi (M.B.A. 2004) before entering law school. Ms. George completed her legal education at Mississippi College School of Law where she served as the Representative to the American Bar Association, STAR Mentor, and as a National Competitor for the Moot Court Board at the American Bar Association’s National Negotiation Competition. She is presently a member of the American Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, Mississippi Bar Association, Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association, and Defense Research Institute, where she serves as Vice-Chair of the Construction Law Membership Subcommittee.
