Biography
James T. Schumaker is a Complex Claims Specialist at Westfield Insurance Company. He handles and supervises commercial litigation, personal injury claims, commercial trucking losses, construction defect claims, and complex coverage matters, primarily in Florida and Virginia.
Originally from Ohio, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Criminal Justice from Kent State University. He joined Westfield Insurance Company in 1999, where he has handled claims in jurisdictions in Indiana, Tennessee, Florida and Virginia.
James has been an active participant in the CLM organization as the Vice President for the Central Florida Chapter and is a current Trucking Industry Defense Association member. He has been recognized in Fact Finder News and is a Top Ty Award winner for outstanding litigation management.
