Biography

As Head of Financial Lines Claims at Hartford Global Specialty , Steven oversees all professional and management liability claims handling and loss services. He leads a team of 52 claims professionals in the US with the experience and ability to handle the claims and business issues that may arise in connection with the most sophisticated errors and omissions, directors and officers, fidelity and fiduciary liability risks.  Additionally, Steven serves as a Global Financial Lines Claims head as well.

Steve’s experience includes 20+ years of managing claims and claims professionals relating to the insurance industry. Following the acquisition of Navigators by The Hartford earlier in 2019, he was asked to oversee the combined organizations. 

Steve also held various professional positions at Gulf Insurance and American International Group (AIG) as well as in the law department of Prudential Securities and Prudential Financial.  Additionally, he spent 10 years at ACE North American Claims in a senior role within the Management Liability Claims Group.  
 
He received a J.D. degree from Widener University School of Law and a B.A. degree from Rutgers College.
