Biography
Mac Kendall is the Senior Claims Director for The Redwoods Group, a social enterprise dedicated to keeping children safe at YMCAs, nonprofit resident camps and Jewish Community Centers among other child-serving organizations. He has been in the insurance industry since 1989, and came to The Redwoods Group in 2002. Prior to that, he worked for the North Carolina Insurance Guaranty Association, Medical Mutual Insurance of North Carolina, Integon Insurance and USAA. His experience includes managing personal and commercial lines, as well as medical malpractice insurance for hospitals, nursing homes and physician practices. At The Redwoods Group he oversees a claims department responsible for General Liability, Property, Automobile, Directors & Officers, and Workers Compensation claims in 50 states.
Mr. Kendall graduated from East Carolina University in 1989 with a BSBA degree in Marketing Management. He lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife and three children.
