Biography
Ms. Berent has been working in the medical malpractice space for over 10 years. She began her career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Middlesex District Attorneys’ Office, prosecuting cases in Concord, Framingham, and Cambridge, and went on to work at one of the largest medical malpractice firms in New York City, Heidell, Pittoni, Murphy & Bach. After defending physicians and major medical centers, Ms. Berent worked at Beazley Group’s Healthcare where she managed a variety of claims from long-term care, life sciences, miscellaneous medical, and products-focused Insureds. She has been with Western Litigation for two years, and is a frequent contributor to the ED Legal Letter. She is a graduate of Cornell University and Northeastern University School of Law.
