Doug Worth

Biography

Doug is a Senior Vice President and Claims Advocate in the Willis FINEX Practice where he provides counsel to clients and staff alike regarding all facets of complex claims, legal and broking issues.  
Prior to re-joining Willis Towers Watson, Doug was with Starwood Hotels and Resorts International Global Risk Management Group where he was principally responsible for the negotiation, placement and maintenance of Starwood’s FINEX lines of coverage. Prior to his time in corporate risk management Doug was a 7 year member of the Willis Claims and Legal Group where he served in a similar capacity as he does now. Before that, Doug practiced claims advocacy at Marsh for 5 years where he served as a Claims Advocate specializing in financial institution directors and officers liability, professional liability, employment practice liability and other Management and Professional Liability matters.

Prior to joining Marsh, Doug was an Assistant Counsel with Gulf Insurance Group for 4 years after he came over from American International Group.

Doug joined American International Group in 1993 and acted as a senior claims analyst concentrating on professional liability for securities broker dealers.

Doug received his J.D. from New York Law School in 1993 after earning his B.A. from Syracuse University in 1990.
