Biography
Penny McCloud | Claims Executive | The Baldwin Group | Seattle, Washington:
Penny serves as a Claims Executive at The Baldwin Group, bringing over 30 years of Property and Casualty insurance, claims and risk management experience. Prior to joining the firm, Penny’s most recent role was as Senior Risk Claims Manager for a heavy equipment rental company. There, she led the claims management team for oversight on a multi-line commercial program, including Workers’ Compensation, Employer’s Liability, Auto, General Liability, Property, Environmental, Crime, and Cyber with claims across the United States. She had direct oversight and relationship management for their third-party administrator, legal team and claims vendors and helped foster a relationship with their broker team.
Penny brings broad knowledge and understanding of insurance exposures, coverage, pricing, renewals, auditing, RFPs, and strategies to manage the Total Cost of Risk. She assisted with driving a safety culture, enhancing standard operating procedures, experience modification forecasting, audits and regulatory compliance, and program administration. She has utilized Origami RMIS system to establish key metrics and benchmarks for analytics and use of key performance indicators for trend analysis, process improvement, and execution of favorable outcomes.
