Biography

Dawn Mortimer, PMP, CUS, FLCA, CA-AM

Dawn Mortimer is the Innovation Director for American Family Insurance and has been there for 25 years serving in many capacities such as Strategy, Marketing, I/S, Claims, agency and product lines. She is responsible for R&D, idea management and working with American Family’s agents, employees, external partners and entrepreneurs to experiment and develop new products, services, and business opportunities.

Dawn has her bachelor’s degree in business management and master’s certificate in Project Management from University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is also a Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute, is a Certified Usability Specialist with Human Factors International, has her Fraud Law Claims Associate designation from the American Educational Institute and has a certification in Alliance Management from the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals. Dawn’s experience with project management, technology, usability, and market development is critical to working with partners in leveraging innovation to disrupt the future.
