William Linero

Biography

William Linero, Jr. is a partner with the law firm of Butler Weihmuller Katz Craig LLP. His primary area of practice involves the defense of civil litigation on behalf of individuals and companies, both local and national, and public and private.  He litigates cases statewide and has participated in numerous trials and mediations as lead counsel. His practice includes defending high exposure claims in various areas of law, including: Personal Injury; Wrongful Death; Property Damage; Construction Defect; Premises Liability; Negligent Security; Motor Vehicle Accidents; Trucking Accidents; Products Liability; and Defamation.Mr. Linero received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Tampa in 1994, and his Juris Doctorate degree from Villanova University School of Law in 1998. He is a member of The Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before all state courts in Florida. He is also admitted to practice in all three federal districts in Florida: the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida. In addition to CLM, Mr. Linero is a member of the American Bar Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA), the Tampa Hispanic Bar Association (THBA), the Hillsborough County Bar Association (HCBA) and the Defense Research Institute (DRI).  He has also has received an AV Peer Review Rating of AV® Preeminent™, the highest possible rating, from Martindale-Hubbell.
