Biography
Julia Sfurm is Global Director of Treasury & Risk Management. She received her BS degree from North Central College and her Masters degree in Health & Law Administration from DePaul University. She also has a Dispute Resolution Certificate from DePaul University. She is a Certified Environmental & Safety Compliance Officer (CESCO), has a Six Sigma Lean Professional (SSLP) designation, Corporate Risk Manager Certified (CRMC), and holds a Producers License. Ms. Sfurm has worked in the workers’ compensation, risk management and environmental, health & safety field over 15 years. She has presented at the National Council of Self-Insured, National Workers’ Compensation & Disability Conference, National Shipbuilding Research Program and Chicagoland Safety Council. She is a member of the Chicago Chapter of RIMS and held the position of Director and Secretary with them. Julie was a finalist for Litigation Manager of the Year in 2013 by CLM. She and her Company received Honorable Mention, Award for excellence in WC & RM from the National Underwriter in 2012. She has also received recognition in the National Association of Occupational Health Professions Vision magazine.
