Biography
Eric Sanders is Head of Claims for QBE North America. Appointed to this position in August 2019, he is responsible for driving an experience of excellence for customers by deepening integration and improving performance across the company's claims operations supporting QBE's Alternative Markets and Specialty & Commercial businesses.
Eric joined QBE in 2013 and, prior to becoming Head of Claims, was most recently serving as SVP, Commercial/Alternative Markets Claims & TPA Management. He has nearly 30 years of experience in claims and loss control with a strong track record of success. Before joining QBE, he worked at Fireman's Fund for nearly 20 years in positions of increasing responsibility in both Claims and Risk Services capacities. Before Fireman's Fund, he started his career in Claims at Aetna Casualty & Surety.
Eric holds a BA in Quantitative Economics and Decision Sciences from the University of California, San Diego.
