Biography
Amy Cooper founded Rising Insurance Star Executives (RISE®) in 2017 as an initiative to help bridge the talent gap in the insurance industry and currently serves as CEO. RISE® is an insurance community dedicated to developing leaders. Through mentorship, education, networking, and leadership development, RISE empowers professionals to accelerate their careers and helps organizations attract, engage, and retain top talent. RISE® was awarded Association of the Year in 2023 by Comp Laude.
Amy has received the ALFN Picture the Future Award, Insurance Business America’s Rising Stars, Bloom’s Making A Difference Award, Reuters Future Insurance Leaders, and ACORD’s Women’s Insurance Advancement Award. Amy is a regular speaker at conferences such as CLM, ACE, NAMIC, ITC, WCI, National WC, and others about attracting and retaining talent, generational differences, career advancement, management, mentorship, and leadership.
