April Esterhuizen joined Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) as a Faculty Member in 2019 in the School of Leadership and has served as a panelist, speaker, and instructor in the Claims and Litigation Management Claims College and other events.
April is a Senior Claims Specialist General Liability for Zurich North America. April is an experienced claims professional with 30 years of experience in personal and commercial lines and in both leadership and individual contributor roles. Prior roles include Vice President of Casualty and Auto, Director of Casualty and Auto, Claims Consultant, Large Loss Consultant, Property Appraiser, Regional Disaster Coordinator, Vendor Manager, Automobile Field Appraiser with ICAR Certification, Auto High End Frame Damage Consultant, Team Leader, Supervisor, Agency Relationship Manager, Operations, and Business Analyst.
April works with industry leaders building dynamic, collaborative, and customer focused teams that deliver exceptional customer interactions that enhance brand recognition and loyalty. April has a passion for empathy, quality, and excellence in claim handling with a focus on building strong team relationships.
April holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management (BSBM) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). She resides in Florida and Colorado and enjoys running, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, reading, and has a passion for creativity and the arts.
