Krissy Mendoza

Biography

Krissy Mendoza is a seasoned claims professional with over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Currently serving as a Complex Claim Specialist with American Contractors Insurance Group, she manages a diverse portfolio of claims including workers’ compensation, general liability, commercial auto, and construction defect. In this role, Krissy focuses on navigating complex legal and technical issues to ensure effective resolutions that mitigate risk and minimize costs for member contractors. A graduate of Purdue University, Krissy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies and is a licensed adjuster in multiple states including Texas and New York. She is actively involved in the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance, where she takes part in the Transportation, Construction and ADR Committees and serves on the Board of Directors for the Dallas Chapter. Krissy has earned several designations including Associate in Claims (AIC), Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS), Certified Claims Professional (CCP), Senior Claim Law Associate (SCLA), and Insurance Claims Management Specialist (ICMS).
