Jeffrey Vanderpool

Biography

Jeff Vanderpool is Executive Vice President for the Cypress Insurance Group. He possesses extensive claims operational and managerial experience in both personal and commercial lines.  In his current role, not only does Jeff oversee the entire claims operation for Cypress, but also is responsible for ensuring quality and timely service through our affiliated general contracting company, Allied Restoration & Construction, Inc.
Prior to joining Cypress, Jeff held claims vice president level positions at People's Trust, Sunshine State Insurance Company as well as American Surety & Casualty Company and its related affiliates.  In addition, Jeff held various claims and regulatory management positions at Hanover Insurance Company, Dependable Insurance Group and GAB. 
He served on the Property and Liability Advisory Board for PLRB from 2011-2014 and the Advisory Board for Enservio, a firm specializing in contents software and solutions for carriers from 2008-2014.  Jeff is also a member of the Claims and Litigation Management (CLM) Alliance and has served on several working committees involving emerging issues in litigation management.  Jeff has served as a presenter for multiple industry sponsored educational events and has co-authored several claims and litigation management related articles.  He is also an active participant and advocate for needed industry change and legal reform.  Jeff received a B.S. in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and has also earned the industry designations of CPCU, ARM and AIC.
