Raymond Giorgetti

Biography

Raymond Giorgetti is the proprietor of ATLAS SETTLEMENT GROUP's New York - Long Island operation.  
Prior to his entry into the structured settlement field in 1985, Ray held liability claim positions with several major insurers (including Royal Globe Insurance Company – Home Office Claims, and Home Insurance Company - Excess Claims).
Ray’s career long focus has been the analysis and negotiation of future damage claims including claims to which CPLR Article 50A or Article 50B apply.
Ray’s son Justin joined the LIO operation in 2005. With 50 years of combined experience Team Giorgetti has produced over 3,000 structured settlements, many of them involving complex damages issues with high exposures. These cases included Medical Malpractice cases, NY Labor Law cases, Worker’s Compensation cases, Maritime cases, as well as Automobile and General Liability claims. Notably, Justin and Ray worked with Fireman’s Fund and AIG on a National E.coli outbreak involving over 100 claims. Settlement of all claims (many of which were structured) was accomplished through a series of mediations around the country over a two year period. 

Ray is a member of CLM and The National Structured Settlement Trade Association. He received his B.A. from Herbert H. Lehman College of the City University of New York. Ray and his wife Nickie have been married since 1974 and have two children and two grandchildren (and are hoping for more).
