Amy Urban

Biography

Amy Urban is Workers’ Compensation Claims Counsel for AIG Claims, Inc. In her role as claims counsel, she provides guidance on matters pending in several jurisdictions including Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, and Illinois. She works closely with panel counsel in each jurisdiction and the claims office to develop sound litigation strategy. Prior to working at AIG, Amy was a partner at Carlock, Copeland & Stair, LLP in Atlanta, Georgia where her practice was primarily in the area of workers’ compensation defense. She is AV rated by Martindale Hubble and has been honored several times as a Georgia Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine. She received her Juris Doctorate in 2002 from the University of Tennessee and her Bachelor’s degree from Auburn University in 1999.
