Biography
Diane Skinner is a System Director, Claim Operations with CommonSpirit Health (formerly known as Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI). She has over 25 years of claim management experience, focusing on the defense of medical malpractice claims. Diane has worked at CHI since October,1999. She provides day-to-day operational oversight of Liability Claim Staff and ensures appropriate handling and successful disposition of all claims with a high level of service to insureds. She has direct oversight of the employed physician line of coverage, D&O, CYBER, crime, fiduciary liability, as well as the property line of coverage. Additionally, Diane is responsible for promoting and accomplishing the directives and strategies of the Enterprise Risk Management Group including the development and implementation of best practices for claims management. Her focus is on protecting the assets of CommonSpirit Health within the organization’s risk appetite. Diane earned her undergraduate degree from Widener University and her MBA with an emphasis on Hospital Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.
