Biography

Kenneth Sharperson leads the execution of the Armstrong Teasdale's strategy on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), as well as ongoing and new initiatives to build and sustain a culture of inclusion and belonging. He collaborates with firm leaders to embed a diverse and inclusive culture into the firm’s talent practices, business strategy, drive inclusion programming and initiatives, and support various affinity organizations firmwide and in the communities where we work and live. 
 
Prior to this role, Mr. Sharperson was a Partner in the Insurance/Reinsurance group in Weber Gallagher’s Bedminster, New Jersey office where he served as national counsel for clients in sophisticated insurance coverage litigation and commercial litigation matters before federal and state trial and appellate courts.  Mr. Sharperson was also the Director of Diversity Equity & Inclusion.

In 2009, Mr. Sharperson was selected to the New Jersey Law Journal’s Top 40 under 40 and was recognized as a New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2012.  In 2012, Mr. Sharperson was selected and participated in the American Arbitration Association’s A. Leon Higginbotham, Jr. Fellows Program, which provides provide training, mentorship, and networking opportunities to up and coming diverse alternative dispute resolution professionals who have historically not been included in meaningful participation in the field of alternative dispute resolution. In 2019, Mr. Sharperson was named a Diverse Attorney of the Year by the New Jersey Law Journal. Mr. Sharperson was a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association Board of Trustees from 2010-2016 and served as the co-chair of the Diversity Committee from 2010-2016.  In 2020, Mr. Sharperson was named a Diverse Attorney of the Year by the New Jersey Law Journal.
