Biography
Kellie Caggiano is an Equity Partner with Moyer Law Group and is AV-rated. Kellie’s practice areas include liability defense, consisting mostly of: construction defect litigation and professional liability defense. Kellie also has experience in the areas of wrongful death defense; premises liability and employers’ liability cases, as well as first party insurance defense and coverage work.
Kellie’s construction litigation practice focuses on defending alleged defect claims on behalf of contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers in large hotel, condominium and municipal building projects. Her professional liability practice includes defending all types of professionals including architects, engineers, lawyers, accountants, insurance agents as well as brokers. Kellie routinely defends clients in cases where the damages being claimed exceed $10 million.
Kellie has over twenty years of experience handling cases from inception through trial, particularly where clients are facing substantial exposure.
Kellie received a Bachelor of Arts degree with High Honors from the University of Florida in 1999 and a Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2002. Kellie is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
