Biography
Andrea Buhl, President of Managed Care has been with Sedgwick since 2007. During that time she has developed several managed care solutions including 24/7 nurse triage, behavioral health and surgery nurse. In addition to the development of organic programs, she has lead acquisitions which have expanded services including Sedgwick’s quality-based field case management. Andrea’s clinical background as a family nurse practitioner coupled with her experience in worker’s compensation has driven her to develop solutions which solve customer’s needs while providing exceptional care to employees. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah and a Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University. She’s also a 2018 Business Insurance Woman to Watch.
