Biography
Gareth Hedges is Chief Claims Officer for The Redwoods Group. Over the last 10 years with Redwoods, Gareth has trained thousands of staff and has presented at the National Drowning Prevention Symposium, Association of Aquatics Professionals Annual Conference, the World Conference on Drowning Prevention, World Aquatic Health Conference, and the American Camp Association National Conference, among others. He was on the CDC's drowning prevention expert panel in 2011 and sits on the advisory committee for the National Drowning Prevention Alliance. In 2012, Aquatics International named Gareth as one of the “Power 25” leaders in the aquatics community. Mr. Hedges received a BS in Public Policy from Georgia Tech in 2003, and a JD from Albany Law School in 2009. He lives in Durham, North Carolina with his wife Nicole, and daughter Eleanor.
