Biography

Mr. Nelson is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. His professional background consists of ten years experience in machinery design and manufacturing, project management, and engineering management.
Mr. Nelson has broad experience in materials selection and application, process conceptualization, engineering design, hands on testing and development of final products, engineering and quality standards, CE Certification and compliance, component part supplier selection and management, development and implementation of customer training programs, and customer liaison. His specific areas of experience include the design, development, and manufacture of high-speed process machinery. Mr. Nelson’s comprehensive skills also include covering systems and tarpaulins for the heavy-duty truck and waste industries in the international and domestic markets.
In addition, Mr. Nelson’s experience includes vehicle accident reconstruction, vehicle component failure evaluation, mechanical equipment, machinery analysis, HVAC evaluation, nondestructive evaluation/testing and product design, and safety and failure analysis. Mr. Nelson has also been the lead investigator for fire and explosion origin and cause investigations of commercial and vehicle fires, as well as large industrial facilities. In addition to the investigations, he has prepared cost estimates for repairs to industrial losses.
