Biography
Dave has over 33 years claims experience and is currently employed by Chubb North America in Wilmington, DE as the international claim manager overseeing a team of technical staff. The unit handles large and complex exposure claims worldwide. Accounts overseen include many Fortune 500 companies.
Dave began his insurance career at Liberty Mutual in southern California and has also worked for Markel, Swiss Re and Allianz. In addition to managing claims in the US, Dave also worked in Europe for 5 years as the European Claims Director based in Munich, Germany with staff in Munich and Paris, France. Dave holds a Senior Claims Law Associate designation through AEI, and obtained his CLMP designation through CLM.
Dave is active within the CLM (Claims Litigation Management Alliance) as a Board Member for the Retail, Restaurant & Hospitality Community, and a Member on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee. He is also a speaker at various CLM events as well as an instructor for the CLM School of Mediation.
