Biography
William T. Cornell
Mr. Cornell is a seasoned litigator whose practice focuses on construction, real estate and complex commercial disputes. He provides corporate, risk management and contract advice to commercial landlords, builders and other real estate professionals. Mr. Cornell is admitted to practice in Washington, Oregon and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington.
Mr. Cornell has served as an arbitrator and mediator. He also shares his experience and legal insights, having made presentations at continuing legal education seminars and for insurance companies and builders.
Before joining Preg, O'Donnell & Gillett, Mr. Cornell served as managing partner in a regional law firm, in-house counsel for a multi state homebuilder and as a director of litigation management for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company.
After studying biology at the University of California, San Diego, Mr. Cornell earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of San Diego Law School in 1989, where he was managing editor of the Law Review.
