Biography
Joe Skinger is an Account Manager for CorVel Corporation, a National Provider of Risk Management solutions that enhances care and controls costs. CorVel is headquartered out of Irvine CA, but Joe is located in the Pittsburgh PA office.
Joe has over 15 years of experience working with accounts in the Workers’ Compensation and General Liability arena. He received a Bachelor’s degree in M.I.S. (Management Information Systems) from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2000. He has been with CorVel for over 7 years where he oversees both TPA and Managed Care Accounts regionally and nationally. His primary responsibility is implementation, account management, and providing insightful guidance to CorVel customers ensuring program outcomes/goals are meet.
Prior to CorVel, Joe spent 7 years working in Occupational Medicine with Concentra Medical Centers. Joe is active in the following chapters; Pittsburgh RIMS, Pittsburgh Self-Insured, COSIA (Central Ohio Self Insured) and Ohio RIMS.
Joe is married with a beautiful daughter in the second grade and his wife is a Geometry Teacher of 10 years.
