Anthony Polini

Biography

Mr. Polini has 20 years of experience focused on risk management and insurance.  He has a unique combination of insurance brokering, underwriting, environmental engineering, risk management and consulting credentials and a strong commercial construction background.  Mr. Polini joined Allied World Assurance Company in August of 2011 as an Assistant Vice President in the Environmental division. Prior to joining Allied World his insurance career included working for two premier carriers, XL Environmental and ACE, USA., as well as acting as an environmental insurance broker for New Day Underwriting Managers, a specialty intermediary for this industry.  While at XL and ACE he worked primarily as an underwriter managing an annually renewable book of business.  He was often sought for special projects such as form revisions, peer training and high profile client interface. New Day Underwriting presented an opportunity to use his skill set to procure optimal environmental insurance solutions for client in this specialty market. In his current capacity at Allied World he is the Vice President and Product Line Manager for the Contractors Pollution and Professional Liability platform.  In that capacity he is tasked with the development and deployment of combined contractors professional and pollution liability products as well as managing a book of mono-line contractors professional liability business.
