Biography
Licanto has been in the risk management/workers’ compensation industry for the past 25 years, and is currently Workers’ Compensation Manager for Georgia-Pacific since 2011. Georgia-Pacific is one of the world’s leading makers of tissue, pulp, paper, packaging, building products and related chemicals. GP manufactures household brands such as Brawny® paper towels, Quilted Northern bath tissue, and Dixie® cups and tableware. Georgia-Pacific, a subsidiary of Koch Industries, employs approximately 35,000 people at more than 200 facilities worldwide.
Licanto’s risk management and claims experience has been in the manufacturing industry, self-insured groups (transportation, restaurant, hospitality, construction), national retail, Professional Employers’ Organization (PEO/Human Resources), third party administration, and insurance carrier industries. He has a Bachelors degree in business, and an Associates in Risk Management.
