Cynthia Tobisman

Biography

In her fifteen years specializing in civil appeals, Cindy has briefed and argued cases involving just about every substantive area of the law. She's also drafted dispositive motions (MSJ, demurrer, etc.) for trial counsel and has had much success obtaining early dismissals of multi-million dollar cases. 

Cindy's excellence has been repeatedly recognized—she's been named a SuperLawyer and a "Rising Star."  She received the President’s Award from the Beverly Hills Bar Association for her work on amicus briefs in the California Supreme Court.

Cindy graduated Phi Beta Kappa from U.C. Berkeley in 1992, and was also named the top graduate in her department (Rhetoric). She subsequently attended U.C. Berkeley School of Law (J.D., 1998), serving on the prestigious moot court board.

She has sat on the Board Of Governors of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and she currently co-chairs the Association’s Amicus Briefs Committee.
