Biography
Tasha Matheson is Vice President of Claims at Hiscox Insurance Company. She leads the USA Professional Liability Claims team in Atlanta, GA, which manages claims on Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Allied Healthcare, Architects & Engineers, and General Liability policies nationwide. In this role, she manages the largest claims team at Hiscox USA, and is responsible for training, leadership development, and working closely with underwriting management regarding claims trends and policy wording. Tasha is an active member of the Women in Leadership program at Hiscox, which seeks to help women project themselves more effectively, increase understanding and appreciation of gender differences throughout Hiscox, and promote a culture at Hiscox that is inclusive.
Tasha began her career with Hiscox as Claims Counsel in 2011. Prior to joining Hiscox, Tasha worked as Claims Counsel with ProSight Specialty Insurance, in New Jersey, focusing on Accountants and Lawyers Malpractice claims. Tasha completed her law school degree at Brooklyn Law School in 2005 and returned to her hometown in Central Florida to begin her legal career with a general practice firm, focusing on real estate litigation.
