LaRonda Razor

Biography

LaRonda Razor is a Claims Supervisor with Utica National Insurance. She has 26 years of experience in the claims field of which the majority has been in the area of Workers’ Compensation. Her career began with The Hartford Insurance Group in Cincinnati, OH working in the clerical department, gradually advancing to Medical Only claims, then handling BI claims as well as progressing to Lost time Workers Compensation and litigated claims for multiple jurisdictions. She later moved to Great American Insurance Group where she worked for 8 years ending as a Claims Supervisor. While at Great American, Ms. Razor mentored with the Claims Manager for succession planning as an Assistant Manager until 2010, and directed staff at all levels ranging from Claim Assistants, Medical Only representatives, to Lost-Time/Catastrophic claim handlers overseeing the following multiple jurisdictions including AL, AR, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MI, MN, NC, OK, SC, TN, UT, VA, & WI. Ms. Razor has also worked with FHM Insurance, and in a supervisory position with Sedgwick Insurance overseeing the Georgia Walmart account. She is currently licensed in multiple states including FL, GA, KY, NC, & SC.  

Ms. Razor has an AIC and CWCP designation as well as a Workers Compensation Law Specialist Designation (via American Educational Institute). She has also served as an instructor for the AIC 34/Workers Compensation designation through the Institutes. 

She is a mother of four, a 23 year old daughter, and sons ages 18, 17 and 12 who are actively involved in recreational basketball and football. Most of her free time during these seasons is in the role of Team or League Mom at the Duluth Youth Football and Cheerleading Association as well as the Duluth Youth Basketball Association.
