Biography
I currently serve as Sr. Associate General Counsel for Pilot Travel Centers LLC d/b/a Pilot Flying J ("PFJ"), owner and operator of more than 550 travel centers across the United States and Canada. While I handle a portion of the contract review in the PFJ Law Dept., assist with PFJ's Canadian real estate transactions and various types of vendor related issues on a daily basis, my primary focus at PFJ is in the area of employment law. I currently handle all employee related administrative disputes, including any EEOC claims, Department of Labor claims and audits, Human Rights Commission claims and Canadian Ministry of Labour claims. In addition, I manage employment litigation being handled by outside counsel. A great deal of my day to day duties consist of consulting with and providing legal advice to the HR, Benefits, Employee Services, Recruiting and Payroll Departments at PFJ.
