Biography

John D. (Jack) Webb is the Managing Partner of the firm’s Jacksonville office, focusing his practice on employment and labor, government relations, complex commercial litigation and commercial negotiations and transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Jack worked as a Partner for a full service business law firm in Jacksonville and also as a Director for Labor and Employee Relations for a large thirdparty logistics provider. Jack’s experience includes the enforcement of restrictive covenants, collective bargaining in the public and private sector, domestic and nternational labor consulting, wage and hour defense, employment discrimination defense, commercial litigation. Jack also negotiates and defends OSHA citations.

Jack was elected to the Jacksonville City Council for the 2007 – 2011 term, serving as a District 6 Council Member, Vice President, and eventually President during his term. He presently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Florida Coastal School of Law inJacksonville, Florida teaching labor and employment law.

Jack earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York and then went on to earn his Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Florida. After a short but successful career on Wall Street, Jack returned to the University of Florida and received his Juris Doctor with Honors.
