Biography
Angela Hagerty is a Construction Defect Examiner for Align Claims Services, Inc. She manages complex litigation cases across the U.S. Angela has been in the insurance industry for over 31 years with the last 19 years dedicated in the construction defect arena. Construction defect is an area Angela enjoys given the uniqueness of the cases which entail complex coverage issues, differences in legal venues, risk transfer opportunities and that the cases require strong negotiation skills.
Angela obtained her undergraduate at Mills College in Oakland, CA and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. She believes in a lifelong learning philosophy obtaining her CPCU as well as several insurance designations from The Institutes which includes AIM, ARM, ARM-E, ASLI, AINS and designations from CLM which include CCP and ACP. Angela also serves as an instructor at Claims College and is President of the Sacramento CLM Chapter in Sacramento, CA.
