Biography
Bari Handwerger joined York Pro, Inc. in 2016 following nearly 10 years of experience in claims handling and civil litigation. Immediately prior to joining York Pro, Ms. Handwerger worked for a major international insurance carrier handling professional liability claims, specifically in the areas of Insurance Agent and Broker/Dealer E&O, and Employment Practices Liability. Before she entered the insurance industry, Ms. Handwerger’s legal practice focused primarily on the defense of financial industry professionals and institutions before New York and New Jersey courts and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Ms. Handwerger received a B.A. in History and French from Columbia University, and her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
