Biography
Hina Shah is the Risk Manager in Nationwide’s E & S/Specialty Brokerage division. She works with the underwriting team and their broker partners to evaluate exposures and implement risk management strategies with New York Construction clients. Prior to joining Nationwide, Hina was an Assistant Vice President, Claims for Old Republic Contractor’s Insurance Group where she was responsible for directing the claim process through their third party claims administrator. She worked closely with clients, brokers, underwriting and safety to ensure the best outcomes for their Northeast construction clients. Hina spent the earlier years of her career with Liberty Mutual’s National Market as a Senior Case Manager and Turner Construction as an Insurance Manager. Hina has extensive experience with all aspects of claims and risk management involving multiple jurisdictions including NY Labor Law, high exposure claims, CCIP and OCIP projects, etc. In her personal time, Hina enjoys being a mommy to her 3 children and reading.
