Biography

Relevant Experience/Specialization

Scott has 37 years of insurance risk management and loss control experience. This includes 23 years on the insurance carrier side of the business with the most recent 14 years on the brokerage side. Current responsibilities include managing the Willis Towers Watson South Region Construction risk control operations.

Scott has extensive experience in construction loss control with an emphasis on large OCIP/CCIP projects. Clients include private and public sector projects including: professional sports stadiums, hi-rise office/condominium, educational institutions, retail, DOT road/bridge projects and tunneling to name a few.

In addition to his construction clients he services Fortune 500 financial service industry clients, property management, manufacturing, as well as service and entertainment industry clients.

For the last twelve years Scott has held the position of SVP Risk Control for Willis Towers Watson with an emphasis in the OCIP/CCIP practice as well as with national residential construction clients. Prior to joining Willis through an agency acquisition Scott held the position of Sr. Risk Strategist with StilesCarr Risk Management, a brokerage firm specializing in servicing construction clients.

While on the carrier side of the business Scott spent 23 years with a major national carrier. Scott held a variety of national and regional leadership positions throughout the US with responsibilities in Risk Control and Marketing capacities.

Role at Willis Towers Watson
In addition to his consulting role, Scott leads the South Region Construction Risk Control practice, overseeing client relationships, delivery of company products and services, people management and business operations.

Education and Credentials
Scott’s major is in Industrial Safety from WCTC and currently holds the designations of Certified Safety Professional – CSP, Associate in Risk Management – ARM and is a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers. Scott is a member of the National Construction Center for Education & Research.
