Biography

Zohar Lushe is an accomplished claims professional and legal strategist with extensive experience in employment practices liability, complex litigation management, and high-exposure claims. She serves as Senior Claims Counsel at Sompo, where she oversees EPL claims, manages sophisticated litigation portfolios, and collaborates closely with outside counsel, insureds, and internal stakeholders to drive efficient, fair, and strategic outcomes.

Prior to joining Sompo, Zohar spent more than a decade at Chubb as a Claim Director, developing deep expertise in investigation, evaluation, and resolution of complex liability matters. Known for her balanced approach, strong legal insight, and ability to navigate evolving employment law trends, she has become a trusted voice within the EPL and management liability community.

Zohar is also an active leader and educator in the claims and legal industry. She regularly chairs and speaks at national conferences—most recently serving as co-chair for Perrin Conferences’ Employment Litigation Conference and presenting for CLM’s School of Claims Mediation. Her contributions highlight her commitment to thought leadership, collaboration, and professional development across the insurance and legal fields.

She earned her Juris Doctor from Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center and holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado Boulder. Recognized for her expertise, integrity, and enthusiasm, Zohar brings a solutions-driven mindset and a passion for elevating claims practice in an ever-changing environment.
