Terry Ives

Biography

Currently lives in Mart, Texas with his beautiful wife Sabra.  Upon High School graduation, served in the Navy’s Fleet Composite Operational Reediness Group 2 (Special Opps, Navy Parachute Wings) Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base, Virginia.
Attended Texas Tech University and went to work for Texas Farm Bureau Insurance as a claims representative.  Positions held:  Claims Representative, Senior Claims Representative, Physical Damage Supervisor, SIU Investigator/Supervisor, SIU Manager and Manager Special Investigations.  Employed with Texas Farm Bureau Insurance for 37 years to date.
Professional Organizations:  International Association of Special Investigation Units (IASIU), International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) & International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IAATI).
Certifications/Designations:  Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator (CIFI), Casualty Claim Law Associate (CCLA), Fraud Claim Law Associate (FCLA), successfully completed National Fire Academy Fire Cause Detection and Arson Investigation course as well as the BATF Advanced Arson Investigative Techniques for the Insurance Industry and the IAAI Expert Courtroom Testimony Program.
Today as the Manager Special Investigations my exceptional staff of 14 and I fight insurance fraud very successfully throughout the state of Texas.  We operate from the Legal Department of our company.
