Biography

Ms. Taranae Hashemi is a proud member of the Gallo Vitucci team and a seasoned litigator.  With extensive experience in handling all stages of civil litigation, Ms. Hashemi has been involved in defending a number of construction defect, catastrophic loss and wrongful death cases.

A native of Randolph, New Jersey, Ms. Hashemi earned her undergraduate degree from The College of New Jersey in 2007.  She next attended law school at Rutgers School of Law, earning her Juris Doctorate in 2011.  While at Rutgers, Ms. Hashemi participated in the Civil Immigration Practice Law Clinic where she defended low-income individuals involved in immigration proceedings.  After law school, Ms. Hashemi served as law clerk to the Honorable Francis J. Orlando, A.J.S.C. and Justice Lee A. Solomon within the New Jersey Judiciary, gaining valuable insight into civil litigation, municipal appeals, and zoning and planning board challenges.

Ms. Hashemi is committed to community and charitable service.  She has been very active within the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of the National MS Society; participating annually in the City-to-Shore Charity Ride and serving as Chair of the Preakness at the Piazza benefit for Multiple Sclerosis, through which she has helped to raise significant funds to benefit the battle against MS.
