Biography

Emmy Award winning journalist Kate Delaney in interviewing over 12,000 people is known for her keen listening skills and ability to draw people out from all walks of life. Delaney credits this ability to listening for what's not being said.

As the Chief Operating Officer for the Golden Broadcasters Network Kate negotiated deals with advertisers, clients, stations and talent for millions of dollars from 2005 to 2013. Before that she worked with the Texas Rangers on closing a five year $25,000,000 dollar deal for the Radio rights for CBS as the Executive Sports Director.

As a negotiations and influential listening expert Kate spoke 75 times last year with leaders from AT&T, Cisco, Boys & Girls clubs and many other top law firms and corporations. Kate is also a nationally syndicated talk show host. Her show on the NBC Radio Sports Network is unique in that it's the only hosted by a woman.

In an environment where attention spans have been clocked at 8 seconds on a good day, she emboldens top level executives to become INFLUENTIAL LISTENERS. Her interactive KEYNOTE is filled with real world scenarios and ready to implement takeaways, based on research and deal making techniques, put into action by executives across the board.

Delaney travels all over the world speaking and broadcasting from the slums of Guayaquil, Ecuador to the rainforest in Grenada, even the back of a Whale boat in Maui. She swears the whales were listening by the way. Kate's covered 15 Super Bowls, 10 U.S. Opens, 15 Final Fours and many more events too numerous to mention.

Kate Delaney's Invade the Man Cave, Sports Secrets Guys Don't Share is an Amazon best seller. Her next book, Influential Listening Getting heard in a Noisy World is out in December. Delaney excels in working with top leaders on negotiating skills and importance of influential listening.
