Jeff Rieder

Biography

Jeff Rieder is head of Aon’s STG Ward Benchmarking, providing expense, staffing and executive compensation advisory services for the property-casualty and life insurance segments. Jeff has extensive experience in the insurance industry working with more than 300 insurance companies throughout his career.  Jeff has been with the firm since 1998 and leads the firm’s Ward’s 50 which analyzes the financial performance of every property-casualty and life-health insurance company in the U.S. and identifies the top performers in each segment. Prior to 1998, Jeff spent 5 years at Great American Insurance Company working in the corporate finance departments.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and International Business Certification from the University of Cincinnati. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and Chartered Life Underwriter. 

Jeff lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, has 5 children and is an avid marathon runner in the process of completing a marathon in every state, with 39 states currently completed.
