Nicholas Karacostas

Biography

Nick Karacostas is an Attorney and currently a Senior Vice President Head of Claims at ISC - Integrated Specialty Coverages. Nick has Global responsibilities for all Programs handled by Third Party Administrators to administer their claims. 
 
Prior to joining ISC, Nick was formally at Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance, Arch Insurance and Zurich North America in various capacities. His positions included Senior Vice President of Claims, Vice President of Claims & Litigation Management, Director of Claims Marketing and Customer Service, Director of Staff Counsel Customer Service, and Senior Trial Counsel. Also, Nick served four years as a Trial Attorney for General Accident Insurance, Co. and two years as Special Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York.

Nick has been a member of the Pancyprian Association of America, Inc. since 1975 and has served as their Legal advisor since 1991. He has served as a member of the Board of HANAC, Inc., Chairman of its subsidiary Home Services Systems, Inc., as well as a Member of the Board of St. Michael’s Home for the Aging. From 2009 – 2011. Nick held the position of Supreme President of the Order of AHEPA for two terms. He is currently concluding his seventh year on the AHEPA Board of Trustees where he has held the title of Chairman.  

Nick holds a J.D. degree from the City University of New York Law School and a B.A. degree from New York University.
