Biography
Jeffrey Richmond, M.D. is a practicing orthopaedic trauma/reconstructive surgeon in New York and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at New York University Medical Center. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Cornell University, and his surgical training at the Hospital For Joint Diseases, the University of Maryland Shock-Trauma Center, and the Hospital For Special Surgery. In addition to his active surgical practice at two American College of Surgeons Level 1 trauma centers, he treats patients for general orthopaedic conditions both operatively and nonoperatively. Dr. Richmond has a longstanding interest in evidence-based medicine and clinical outcome studies, and has worked as a medical consultant for approximately ten years.
