Biography

Douglas R. Rosenzweig is a senior partner with Fuchs Rosenzweig, PLLC.    Mr. Rosenzweig is responsible for litigating cases in the following areas: construction accidents, property damage, premises liability, transportation/railroad law and product liability defense.  Mr. Rosenzweig personally handles each of these matters from inception to trial, managing a highly skilled team of associates, paralegals and hired consultants/experts in order to defend the rights of the firm’s valued clients.

Mr. Rosenzweig has been named a Rising Star by Superlawyers magazine every year since 2013 and has been awarded Martindale Hubble's AV Preeminent Rating, the highest possible rating in both Legal Ability & Ethical Standards.  The AV Rating is awarded to less than 5% of attorneys nationwide.

Mr. Rosenzweig specializes in the defense of owners, contractors and scaffolding companies in both Premises Liability and Labor Law cases.  He has obtained defense verdicts for his clients in high profile, multi-million dollars trials.  He has successfully prosecuted and defended appeals in the Appellate Division, First and Second Departments and has handled construction mediations, arbitrations and multi-party settlement negotiations.

Mr. Rosenzweig also represents a Class 1 Freight Railroad in connection with personal injury and property damage claims.  Through this association, Mr. Rosenzweig became involved with the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel (“NARTC”) and now sits on its executive board. In addition to helping to plan NARTC’s annual meetings, Mr. Rosenzweig has given several presentations with topics including “Litigation Financing” and “The Reptile Theory of litigation at both depositions and trial”.
