Biography
Thomas F Ryan is a Senior Principal with the Integrated Casualty Consulting (ICC) National Practice at Willis Towers Watson. Tom has more than 26 years of consulting experience with a global insurance broker and was a product manager for a national medical cost containment vendor.
He specializes in all aspects of Workers Compensation cost containment, including:
■ Total cost of risk reduction strategies
■ Specialized post-loss claim management process improvement
■ Third Party Administrator (TPA) and managed care vendor selection
■ Claim Closure Solutions
■ Medical Cost Containment
■ Integrated / Coordinated Absence Management
He is a contributor to publications that provide thought leadership and updates on emerging trends impacting Workers Compensation issues for clients, brokers and advocates. Tom speaks nationally on innovation, emerging trends and national issues influencing Workers Compensation and is frequently quoted in trade publications.
In addition to his consulting role with the Integrated Casualty Consulting Practice, Tom participates in Willis Towers Watson occupational & non-occupational task forces and works closely with Casualty Brokerage teams. Tom earned a BS from LaSalle University and an MBA in corporate finance from Fordham University.
