Biography
Gina Macari is an Assistant Vice President and Claims Advocate, providing counsel and claims support to clients for the various Management Liability and Cyber policies placed by the FINEX Practice Group of Willis Towers Watson. She is based in our Chicago office.
Gina began her career as a litigator defending companies against professional and employment practices liability claims, then focused her practice on insurance coverage, specializing in the areas of D&O, EPLI, Fiduciary, E&O and Cyber Liability. Prior to joining WTW, Gina served as coverage counsel for Founders Insurance, and as claims counsel for several carriers, including CNA, AIG and OneBeacon while employed at Resolute Management Inc.
Her experience over the last nineteen years has included claims management, coverage litigation, policy drafting, regulatory filing and underwriting consulting. Having spent much of her legal career representing the interests of insurance companies, Gina brings an insightful and unique perspective to her claim advocacy on behalf of policyholders.
Gina earned her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Illinois, Champaign and her Juris Doctor degree at the DePaul College of Law.
